Villa
Anqua
Anqua is
a 16 th
Century
castle
built on
the
ruins of
a 12 th
Century
castle.
It still
belongs
to the
same
family
who
originally
built
it, one
of the
oldest
of
Siena.
It is
situated
on a
hill
near
Radicondoli
in the
Sienese
countryside
with
wonderful
views of
the
plain
below.
The
enormous
estate
which
surrounds
Anqua is
cultivated
with
vineyards,
olive
groves
and
woodland.
The
beautiful
and
evocative
rural
setting
is
breathtaking
-as far
the eye
can see,
there
are
farmlands,
hay
fields,
olive
trees,
old
farmhouses,
ancient
towers
and
castles.
Farm
workers
live in
the
borgo.
The
castle
and the
