60 km

Heraklion.
The
village
of
Melidoni
with its
historical
atmosphere
is well
known
for its
impressive
cave
named “Gerontospilios”.
The
house is
surrounded
by large
grounds
of
4000sqm
with
trees
and
colourful
flowers.
This
200sqm
villa is
suitable
for 8-10
people.
There is
a 60sqm
swimming
pool
with
children’s
pool
surrounded
by sun
beds and
umbrellas.
A
built-in
BBQ with
traditional
oven and
a large
stone
table
with
wooden
benches
create a
perfect
private
setting
for
relaxing
and
dining

The
house is
designed
in
traditional
Cretan
style
with
high-beamed
ceilings
and
furnished

living/dining

one

sofa bed
along
with a

kitchen

dishwasher.
Next
there

bedrooms,
one with
double
bed and
en-suite
bathroom
with
bath/WC,
the
other
with
twin
beds.
Further
on this
floor
are a
shower/WC,
and a
small
utility
room
with
washing
machine,
ironing
board
with
iron.
A marble
staircase
leads to
the
upper
floor
where
there is
a large
living
area
with a
sofa
bed, TV,
and two
more
bedrooms,
one with
twin
beds,
the
other
with a
four
poster
double
bed and
en-suite
bathroom.
Further
there is
a
shower/WC,
a lobby
area
with
small
refrigerator
and wash
hand
basin,
and two
large
verandas,
one
having
views
over the
pool and
countryside,
the
other
facing
the rear
gardens.
Other
facilities
include
stereo,
central
heating
(at an
extra
charge),
two
bicycles,
and air
conditioning
in all
of the
bedrooms
(at an
extra
charge).
The
nearest
beach
can be
found at
Bali.
Tavernas,
kafenions,
a
mini-market
and
bakery
can all
be found
in
Melidoni.
The
village
of
Perama 4
km away
offers a
larger
variety
of shops
and
tavernas.
