A handsomely restored Venetian building, the hotel Palazzo di Pietro is situated in the picturesque little back streets of the Old Town of Chania, close to the grand Cathedral. The building dates back roughly to 1200 AD, which was a time when the Venetians occupied Crete, and at that time it was the residence of the Renier family, an aristocratic family, whose descendants still own the property. The Palazzo has been carefully and painstakingly restored, with the aim of giving hotel guests an intriguing glimpse into the cultural heritage of Crete. Throughout the restoration work on this old residence great attention and respect were given to the historical authenticity of the Venetian era, with extensive use of hewn stone wood, while the interiors are harmonious and traditionally sympathetic. The result is one of the finest restored hotels in Chania with a warm and friendly atmosphere.

A: Four studios (30 sqm) for 2 or 3 people, with double or twin beds, kitchenette, air conditioning (incl.), satellite TV, radio, telephone, safety deposit box and a bathroom/wc with shower or corner bath tub. Some rooms have an extra sofa bed for a 3^rd person. One ground floor room is suitable for mobility impaired guests.

B: Three apartments (65 sqm) for 2-4 or 5 people, with one bedroom with a double bed or two French beds, living/sleeping room with two sofa beds, kitchenette, air conditioning in bedroom and living room, satellite TV, radio, telephone, safety deposit box, and bathroom with WC and corner bath tub, and balcony.

The specially created roof garden on the terrace of the building offers wonderful views over the Old Town of Chania, the Venetian lighthouse, and the endless blue of the Cretan Sea. Tavernas, Restaurants, Shops and other amenities can all be found nearby. The nearest beach is a 15 min walk away.
