The Albany House was built in the spirit of the Bahamian Great Houses of the last century. It is situated in the southwestern quarter of New Providence- the capital island- and lies to the west of 77 acres of land with 3000 feet of beautiful and exclusive sand beach. Looking out over a shallow sea which varies in colour from transparent blue to turquoise, with its own tranquil and private beach. The Albany House is a jewel of the Tropics. Conceived as a leisure paradise, the estate includes all sports facilities that could be imagined of under the skies of the beautiful Bahamas, from tennis, gymnastics, volleyball, bicycling to a wide variety of water-sports. But perhaps the most inviting feature of this exclusive retreat resides in its extremely relaxing ambiance. Indeed, bathed by a light breeze and the soft rhythm of the Bahamian sea, life seems to flow differently here. Whether lying on a hammock with a good book under a coconut tree, or sipping a cool drink in the gazebo on the jetty which looks out over the transparent waters, anyone staying at the Albany House will surely experience perfect relaxation.

THE MAIN HOUSE (SOUTH WING) (Ground Floor)

THE NORTH WING

2 Guest bedrooms: These 2 rooms are connected by a common bathroom. They contain a queen-sized bed in one room and a single in the other.

THE COTTAGES
EAST & WEST WINGS - with large furnished verandah overlooking the sea. Both cottages of a bedroom with queen-sized bed, a bathroom, a living with a pull-out sleeper sofa, dining room and a kitchen. The main house and cottages are fully air-conditioned and equipped with ceiling-mounted music system throughout. All bedrooms have internet access and e-mail. All the buildings are connected by covered walkways.

POOLS AND GAZEBOS
Two gazebos, ideal for outdoor dining, flank the pools. Both pools are heated, and are equipped with underwater sound system and romantic night lighting.

BEACH HOUSE
An equipped gym room overlooking the nature reserve, with shower and changing room Plus a large seating area with a full view of the beach and sea. Perfect for relaxation or dining.

TENNIS PAVILION
A plantation-style balcony with a bar incorporated for great viewing of the game. Youâll find tennis rackets, shower and changing room all within this charming pavilion.

MAIN KITCHEN
The kitchen is located to the north-west end of the estate, close enough to ensure fast service and far enough to avoid any nuisance in the residential area. Guests will enjoy an international mix of haute cuisine from two very talented French chefs.

ESTATE OFFICE
The core staff has been with the property for many years. They are dedicated to their job and trained to international standard of guest services. Uniformed security, with trained guard dogs, patrols the estate from 6pm to 6am. Organized to perfection, the property offers space, a unique comfort of living and perfect privacy for all, guests as well as staff members, allowing efficient and invisible service which makes a place unforgettable.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

• Rates are subject to change without notice.

• Two Night minimum stay year-roundexcept holidays; One week is required over Christmas and New Year.

• Rental price does not include food & beverages. A deposit will be required. Receipts will be totaled and the balance will be settled at the end of the stay.

• Menus and wish list will be provided upon reservation.

• All telephone calls will be charged to guestâs account and should be paid in cash.

• Any extra amenities will be charged to guestâs account and should be paid in cash.

• In-house laundry service is available for free but dry cleaning will be an extra cost.

• 50% deposit is required upon confirmation of reservation. Final payment is due one month before arrival.

• There is a US$10,000 refundable damage deposit, which will be refunded within 3 weeks after departure, subject to inspection.

• A insurance policy is to be taken by client for any liability.

• After confirmation, a cancellation policy will be applied.

• All children under age of 10 need to be accompanied by an adult at all time within the property for safety reasons.

• Gratuities are additional and should be given directly to the estate-manager.

• Smoking is allowed in open-air rooms and verandahs only.

• Illegal drugs are prohibited in the property.

• No animals are allowed.
